In an extraordinary act of courage, Minu Boro of Tezpur has emerged as a hero after saving the lives of 17 women during a harrowing pilgrimage journey. A group of 18 women from Tezpur had set out on a spiritual tour to Kedarnath and Badrinath, but their serene pilgrimage turned into a near-fatal disaster on the winding mountain roads.

The group, having safely visited the sacred Kedarnath Dham, was en route to Rishikesh after paying homage at Badrinath. They had hired a traveler vehicle from Delhi for their journey, blissfully unaware of the danger ahead. While navigating the narrow roads of Shyamli district, the women were warned of a landslide that had blocked the Karnaprayag route, forcing their driver, Gopal Sharma, to take an alternative path through Seikot village.

The journey quickly turned tragic when Gopal Sharma suddenly suffered a heart attack while driving, losing control of the vehicle. The traveler swerved dangerously close to a deep ditch along the mountainside. Panic swept through the vehicle as the women struggled to understand what was happening.

In that crucial moment, Minu Boro, displaying immense bravery and presence of mind, leaped into action. Without hesitation, she took control of the vehicle, steering it away from the edge and bringing it to a halt, saving all 17 women from what could have been a deadly fall.

Minu’s quick thinking and courage in the face of adversity have made her a true Super Women, with her act of bravery capturing the hearts of many across the nation
